Westgate Concert Band celebrated its 45^th year in style. With two major concerts, plenty of community outreach events and honing our skills at the inaugural Western Bands Festival, it was a busy one! We were thrilled to welcome several new players, each growing the sound and strength of our ensemble, and award two 20 Years of Service awards at our Presentation Night.

Remembered today and always…

In 2022, Westgate Concert Band reawakened! No one needs to be reminded of the severe impact that pesky respiratory virus had on our activities, and despite valiant efforts to keep our ensemble alive via zoom, nothing quite compares to creating music together once again. This year Westgate worked hard to regain their musical skills and their ‘chops’, were thrilled to welcome a collection of new members, and finally performed under our new musical director.
